Our Team

Emily Vrieling

  • Precision hair cutting of all lengths and both high and low maintenance blonding.

  • @emilyvrieling.hair

My journey as a stylist began in Downtown Seattle and has since taken me across the Pacific Northwest. From collaborating with artistic teams and working in luxury Seattle salons to contributing to highly-rated boutique studios, I’ve had the privilege of forging meaningful connections with both clients and colleagues.

As I’ve developed my skills, I’ve focused on refining my attention to detail and my passion for design. I’m thrilled to channel the expertise and enthusiasm I’ve accumulated over the years into my own salon space.

I specialize in cutting hair of all lengths and crafting lived-in, custom blonding. Each of my personalized sessions is designed to address your hair’s unique needs within the time you book, ensuring exceptional results tailored just for you.

Prices are $115/ Hr with gratuity included

Owner

Calla Dawn

  • Balayage specialist

  • @calladawncolor

I specialize in natural, sunkissed color and low maintenance haircuts. I don’t believe you should have to come in every 6 weeks to have beautiful hair color. I do believe closer to natural is usually best. I specialize in Balayage and do not do foils.

I lived in New York City for 16 years before moving to Oregon. It was there that I completed cosmetology school and a several year long apprenticeship with Lena Ott at Suite Caroline Salon.

I’ve been fortunate to get to do hair for editorial shoots, tv, film and fashion. But what I really enjoy is being in the salon, building relationships with my clients and making their dream hair a reality.

When I’m not behind the chair I’m tinkering around in the kitchen, trying a new restaurant, hanging out with my dog baby, Lefty, or daydreaming about travel.

Mike Sposito

  • Mens cutting specialist - All lengths of hair

    Q&A:

    What is your specialty service?
"Men’s hair of all lengths, from fades to long. But really my specialty is listening to people who probably don’t know how to talk about their hair and/or don’t know what their hairstyle possibilities are…beyond cutting technique, I believe my true strength is being accessible and that of a great communicator."

    First band/artist you saw live?
"First show I actively bought tickets to, was The Cure with Echo and the Bunnymen, 1996, I was 12 or 13. We just saw The Cure  again a couple months ago, and I thought they were old then! But still so good"

    Hidden talents?
"I grew up riding horses competitively, even professionally for a bit. Definitely a side of me that most people I know don’t get to see."

    Hobbies?
"I started golfing during the pandemic, I’m obsessed with it even though I’m not any good, yet!"

    Q&A:

What inspired you to join this industry:

I have always been more creative and artistic but also love math and science. Hair design just happens to mesh those two worlds perfectly.

    What is your specialty service:

Balayage and blonding! These are areas where I feel I can let my creativity flow most and give my clients the look they want.

    Most nostalgic smell:

Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland. If you know, you know.

    First band/artist you saw live?

Thomas Rhett was the first artist I saw live. I love country music! Going to see Chris Stapleton this summer and I can't wait!

    Favorite Sunset:

As a born and raised SoCal girl, beach sunsets have to be my absolute favorite.

Kristi Hamlet

  • French cutting and multidimensional

    color

  • @Kristihamlet

My passion for hair has existed for as long as I can remember. My approach with clients is comprehensive and the goal is to make everything flow and work together. Skin tone, eye color, body type, personal style and color palette can all form one cohesive look that is effortless, timeless and unique to you.

I specialize in french cutting, soft texture and layering, as well as balayage and multidimensional color techniques to create luminous blondes and multidimensional redheads and brunettes. My depth of knowledge comes from a career in makeup artistry in Los Angeles as well as advanced training in a French cutting apprentice program and ongoing education from Bumble and Bumble and industry masters such as Pascal Bensimon and Derrick Zeno.

My work has been featured in US weekly, OK magazine, Rolling Stone, The LA Times, The Today Show, Oprah's Where are They now and many other international newspapers and magazines. However, I truly feel the best representation of my work is on a client outside of the salon who has styled their own hair and is looking like the very best version of themselves.

Outside of work, you can find me traveling, cooking a great meal or exploring wine country or the outdoors with my friends and family.

To book an appointment or consultation with me please call or text 541-231-7217

Marquix Martinez

  • Layered haircutting and dimensional brunettes

  • @Marquix.hair

I finished cosmetology school in 2012 at TONY & GUY in ABQ, NM. After that I moved back to my home town El Paso, TX and I spent many years trying all the things.

I worked at a salon in the mall, an all-men’scutting shop, a blow dry bar, and then did two years assisting two of the city’s most popular hairdressers. Learning different skills from all I spent the last 6 years building my own clientele. This has by far been the most fulfilling and I’m excited to do it again here in Bend.

I specialize in dimensional brunettes/all types of blondes and layered haircuts based on your hair type/lifestyle.

The integrity of your hair will always be my first priority & my clients have said I give the best blowouts.

When I’m not playing with hair you will find me hanging out with my dogs, watching trash TV, practicing yoga, and falling on a snowboard.

I can’t wait to meet you!

Adriana Cone

  • Men and womens cuts, Color

  • @hairbyadrianajean

My first job was working with children creating fun, sparkly updos for their birthday parties. I fell in love with the job. Seeing their smiling faces when I finished was the best part. I graduated from Cal State University Long Beach in 2010 with a broadcast journalism degree, and pursued the field for several years. I’ve also worked in the restaurant industry for over ten years and learned the value of customer service.

When I turned 25, I was faced with a life-changing experience. My new perspective on life led me back to pursuing my passion for hair. I truly love people and being able to connect on all levels. I take pride in listening to the client and being able to bring their vision to life. I’m a perfectionist and my attention to detail is what I value most. Not only am I making people look their best, I’m giving them a warm, positive and safe place in my chair.

  • @i_paint_hair

I'm your go-to for balayage magic, creating natural sun-kissed highlights and expertly disguising those pesky greys with artful balayage techniques. From tousled curls to sleek strands, I've mastered the art of cutting all hair types.

After graduating from cosmetology school in San Francisco in 2004, I've styled hair from the Bay Area to the breezy shores of Kauai, HI.

When I'm not transforming hair in the salon, you'll find me tackling mountains whether it's on two wheels or carving fresh powder on a snowboard."
